Time flies

Going to the doctor's...

Like I mentioned yesterday, I've been feeling under the weather.

So my mom decided to take me to the doctors.

I'm normally okay with going to the doctor's, but when you aren't quite sure what's wrong with you (as I am), they tend to give you all these seemingly unnecessary tests to diagnose you. However, there's one test I hate the most.

THE STREP TEST.

Doctors always seem to find a way to make me have to take the awful test.

 

I HATE IT SO MUCH. I think once when I was little I protested it so much I got away with not taking it. yeah stubborn me 

I really hope I don't have to take it. Wish me luck. Sigh 

EDIT: it turns out i had walking pneumonia. Who'd have thought? 

Sunday~

Bleh. 

I've been doing nothing all day, and I've been feeling under the weather. Sp I've been sitting around in my snuggie all day. Zebra striped snuggie, of course.

Anyways, today I got a message from my friend Julie today, like so...

Well the font seems to have changed on me and my semi-sick self doesn't seem to feel like going back to fix it. But now i'm off to go procrastinate school work and take a bath or something. 

Also I had fried chicken for dinner. Best thing ever. 

Last Minute Shopping

Leave it to me to have to do something last minute... 

So it's my friend, Lindsay's, birthday celebration-dance-party tonight, and when she told me about this, I figured, "okay, this'll be fun, i just need to go shopping and buy her a present!"

It's a SEMI-FORMAL party. I don't own a semi-formal-esque dress, shoes, and still don't have a present. When's the party? Tonight 

So thankfully,my friend Julie's letting me borrow her dress, if I can't find one going last minute dress-shoes-present shopping with my friend Anya today. Who just so happens to still be sleeping.  
  
I really hope this works out. 

If procrastination was a sport, I would be an Olympic champion. 

Also, I love the sound of salt trucks going up and down the roads.... because it means its snowy outside. WOOO 

It sounds like love.

IT'S A TRAP

thank goodness it's friday.

ITS FINALLY FRIDAY. 

and i've been feeling dizzy all day. greaaat. But on the brighter side, i'm having a reading party with my friend Julie. We are just that cool. 

You see, we wouldn't normally do this, but our marching band is traveling to Disney to perform on main street, and we recently got notified that we aren't just going to Disney, but we're now spending a day at Harry Potter world. 

I'm one of the few souls who's still on book 2. 

 DON'T JUDGE ME PLEASE 

BUT, me and Julie thought it'd be grand to have a good old fashioned reading party. 


WISH ME LUCK. Also i seriously can't wait for this whole Florida thing WITH MY BAND FRIENDS.

Russian Swag

So I had quite the day today. The highlight of my day is always the free time I spend with my friend Anya. She's Russian. I'm sure she'd want you to know that. 

Anya has one of the best senses of humor I've ever seen. She somehow can twist almost anything to make it sound hilarious.  

But she always swears. I DON'T THINK THIS GIRL CAN GO 4 SENTENCES WITHOUT CUSSING. 

 

I also have a problem. Im a cartoonist for the school newspaper, and I was just given my topic. 5 minutes later, I thought of this amazing punchline. 10 minutes later I COMPLETELY FORGOT RAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGEEEE 

So as I type I'm trying to remember what I was thinking. 

I'm also trying to get Anya to tell me a funny story via Facebook chat. 

 

It's okay, I'm sure she's just RUSSIAN to tell me! OHOHOHO

Hello! THIS IS MAH BLOG.

HEY BLOGGING WORLD 

I see you've come to my blog. First off, I'd like to say a huge thank you. NEVER HAVE I EVER DREAMT OF HAVING MY OWN BLOG. But then the other day I came across this site and was like "...hey." 

 Bang.  

Now I have my very own blog. Well I'm Katie, very nice to meet you. I'm a wannabe cartoonist who doodles for a hobby. By the way, i'm still in high school.  

You see that character above? The one with the hair? That's me. Well not really, but you get the point, it's how I draw myself. 

All this blog will probably be about is my life. I'm in art class, enjoy science (specifically astronomy), and am a self proclaimed carnivore. Did I mention i'm in the marching band? Yeah. I am one of those cool kids twirling flags in the front called the colorguard. YEAYYY GUARD. I have some friends too. They all certainly have their own colorful little personalities. 

Now before I drag this blog post on for too long, I just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVEN VISITING. I am one of those overreacting girly girls who cries of happiness even when they see one person viewed their post.
